Throwing a bowl

Push the fingers down into the centered mass of clay. Be careful to leave thick enough clay base for the foot ring of the pot. Lift the clay up using the same technique as throwing a cylinder. Do no open the bowl to wide until you reach the right height.

Slowing shape the inside and open up as you squeeze the clay wall when lifting up.

Finish the rim carefully with your fingers. When finish, make sure you clean up all the excess water left in the pot which will cause cracks at the base.
